CPA1 FLUE GAS SAFETY EQUIPMENT FROM TESTO
As the leading name for professional instrumentation and analysis systems, Testo has created within its noted 327 series a specialist CPA1 Multi-Purpose Flue Gas Analyser Kit which ensures that you do the right job in every way, every time.
With the new CPA regulations for boilers and space heaters having come in to effect on April 1 – and which overide CEN1 and HTR1 certificates – you simply are not allowed by Law to carry out this type of work unless CPA qualified and the Testo kit is the self-contained means of peace of mind for installers, maintainers and customers alike.
The kit contains all of the registered probes, mains unit, hoses and a gas pressure controller to use on Let By and Tightness tests. It also thoughtfully includes a Training DVD entitled “Portable Flue Gas Analysers – A Practical Guide for Users” as well as a Gas Leak Detector. Nothing is left to chance and everything is contained within a smart and robust Testo case. There are two versions of the kit avaiable with the advanced option also including differential temperature kit and a handy Testo printer.
Testo 327-1 standard kit includes: 327-1 analyser, flue gas probe (180mm x 6mm), mains unit, carry case, B2 Angled probe, B1 gas cooker probe, hose connector, silicon hose and gas pressure controller. Also includes gas leak detector and FGA training DVD.
Testo 327-1 Advanced kit includes: 327-1 analyser, flue gas probe (180mm x 6mm), diff hose kit, diff temperature kit, testo fast printer, mains unit, carry case, B2 Angled probe, B1 gas cooker probe, hose connector, silicon hose and gas pressure controller, gas leak detector and FGA DVD.
The range of equipment allows engineers to meet all domestic parameters with a choice of measurement menu variations. It is backed by a three year warranty and is suitable for natural gas, LPG, kerosene, heavy and light oil and wood pellets whilst displaying CO, CO², 0², ratio and efficiency. The Analyser is independently tested to EN 50379 and the CO accuracy is independently certified to BS7967.
This is serious equipment for a serious undertaking all underlined by the recent three year prison sentence for an engineer in Bristol whose faulty flue installation caused the death of a 24 year-old young woman. So as they say, invest in the best – invest in Testo.
